This unique class in our therapy pool combines movements from Tai Chi, Qi Gong and balance training and includes a light cardio workout. Join us to improve your range of motion, increase your energy levels, and gain confidence in balance, all within the supportive environment of the pool. All fitness levels welcome. |
| Aqua Yoga |
In this class you will perform flowing and graceful movements of yoga and stretching while in the water. Connect the mind and body in an aquatic environment. Appropriate for those with special considerations and all fitness levels welcome. |
| Aqua ZUMBA! |
Join the ZUMBA party in the pool! Aqua ZUMBA! takes this fun, Latin inspired class to the water, allowing you to get a great workout while having fun! Appropriate for all fitness levels. |
| The Arthritis Foundation Aqua for Arthritis & Aqua for Arthritis Basics |
Alleviate arthritic symptoms, reduce pain and stiffness, increase flexibility, muscle strength, and improve fitness and endurance with exercises in warm water, taught by an instructor certified by the Arthritis Foundation. Basics class is geared toward new program participants but is suitable for all. |

Never learned to swim as a child? Are you afraid of the water? Now is your chance toovercome those fears and learn how to swim. Discover how easy it is to feel confident and enjoy your time in the water. Learn the basics of swimming. This class is for true beginners. $40.00 fee for six week/six sessions. High intensity training in the water! Join us for this water cross training class and challenge your muscles and cardiovascular system in a new way. Appropriate for moderate to high fitness levels and the individual who needs a new challenge in the water. |
| Intermediate/Advanced Swim Lessons |
This class is for thosewho already know how to swim but would like to learn how to swim laps, swim more efficiently or improve their stroke for fitness swimming or facing. $40.00 fee for six week/six sessions. See front desk to register. |
| Water Circuit |
This class consists of a total body workout combined with high and low intensity exercises. Exercises take place in the shallow and deep water. No swimming skills are necessary. All fitness levels welcome. |
| Water Workout |
This class is designed to increase your endurance, strength, and flexibility with all of the benefits of exercising in the water, which will decrease the impact on the joints. No swimming skills are necessary. All fitness levels welcome. |
| Classes with less than six participants may be subject to cancellation. The Summa Wellness Institute reserves the right to adjust the schedule, class formats, and instructors when necessary, based on attendance, or otherwise. Participants should arrive on time and class participation may be subject to close at the discretion of the instructor to ensure a safe warm up. The Group Exercise Schedule is subject to change. Abbreviated schedules of classes may be offered during holidays and the summer. |
