| Cardio Combo |
This class uses a combination of high and low impact moves and multiple cardio conditioning tools, which may include the Step, athletic drills, dance movements, and more! Aerobic segment is followed by basic strength exercises. All levels welocome. |
| Cardio Interval |
This class is for those who want to improve their cardiovascular endurance by using multiple modalities. Many forms of interval training will be used and exercises will be performed on, but not limited to, Steps, BOSUs, the track and cardio machines. Moderate to advanced fitness levels. |
| Cardio Kick |
Challenge yourself with this intense 45 minute cardio class. Cardio Kick includes a focus on punches for the upper body, kicks for the lower body and combination moves to pull it all together. No equipment necessary. Moderate to high fitness levels. |
| Core & More |
This full body workout focuses specifically on core stabilization throughout the class. Using combination exercises and more than one muscle group at a time, you'll gain strength while maintaining moderate intensity levels! Moderate to high fitness levels. |
| Cycle 101 |
This class is for those requiring a gentle cardio workout or for those interested in beginning an indoor cycling program. Cycling offers a non-weight bearing cardio workout that is easy on the joints while being great for the heart! Please call ahead to reserve your spot. |
| Cycle Challenge/ Cycle With Core |
An indoor cycling class that consists of cardio challenges, resistance levels, climbs, sprints, and more. This class uses modifications for less experienced and advanced riders. Moderate to high fitness levels are encouraged to attend. (Cycle With Core includes 15 minutes of core work in addition to a 45 minute ride.) Please call in the day of the class to reserve your bike! |
| Cycle the Outdoors |
This class is for the outdoor cycling enthusiast who wants to continue to build strength and endurance. Challenge yourself and don't let the winter weather stand in the way. Moderate to advanced fitness levels. Please call ahead to reserve your spot. |
| Functional Fitness |
Join us for a low impact class designed for anyone interested in keeping their body strong! This class combines strength training, aerobic conditioning and stretching that will assist you in improving the quality of your life. Designed especially for low to moderate fitness levels. Beginners are welcome! |
| Hatha Yoga |
The word hatha is a compound of the words ha and tha meaning sun and moon. This class is a slow-paced stretching class with some simple breathing exercises. It is a good place to learn basic poses, relaxation techniques and become more comfortable with yoga. Poses and sequences are presented in varying levels to accommodate beginning and intermediate students. |
| High Intensity Training |
This class is for those who want to take their workout to the next level. H.I.T. involves plyometrics, speed training, drills, strength training, and much more. This class is recommended for those who have been on a consistent workout program for at least 3 months. |
| Kettle Bell Workout |
The kettlebell is a weight resembling a cannonball with a handle used to perform ballistic exercises combining cardiovascular, strength and flexibility training. Training with kettlebells allow you to target all main muscle groups. This class is for those at a moderate to advanced fitness level. |
| Mat Pilates |
A non-impact workout, working primarily from the floor, that focuses on skills and techniques designed to improve posture, strengthen back and abdominal muscles and provide overall core conditioning. All fitness levels are welcome. |
| Power Pump |
This class offers a complete total body workout that also includes the most important muscle, your heart. Come get your heart pumping while challenging your muscles with a mixture of aerobic exercises, plyometrics and weight training all in one. This class is challenging and recommended for moderate to advanced fitness levels. Modifications are given for different levels. |
| Power Yoga |
A challenging class with sun salutations intertwined with vigorous poses, linking breath and movement. Includes back bends, inversions and arm balances. Excellent for developing strength, endurance, flexibility, focus and breath awareness. |
| Restorative Yoga |
This class presents nurturing physical postures based on yoga to heal the effects of chronic stress. It promotes "active relaxation" by using props to alternately stimulate and relax the body to move toward balance. Along with postures, breathing techniques refresh the blood and energize the whole body system while meditation creates more harmony in body and mind. Bring blankets for personal use. |
| Serenity/ Gentle Yoga |
Learn the basics of Yoga at a slower pace. Focus is on basic postures, yogic breathing and proper alignment. Designed for students who are new to yoga as well as more experienced students who want a gentler class. |
| Simply Step |
Join us for this basic/beginning Step workout. Geared for the beginner or those who would like a less intense, all cardio Step class. |
| Step |
This class uses an elevated platform (the Step), which enables a more vigorous workout than can be achieved in a basic aerobics class. The intensity of the workout can be tailored to individual abilities by inserting or removing risers to increase or decrease the height of the Step. This class includes challenging choreography that will take your Step workout to the next level! All fitness levels welcome. |
| Stretch 101 |
Decrease the risk of injury and aches and pains by increasing your flexibility. This 30 minute class will teach you full body dynamic stretching as well as how to use the stretch straps and foam roller. All fitness levels welcome. |
| Tai Chi |
Tai Chi is an internal martial art in which strength and balance are developed from the core outward. Practiced for its many health benefits, the slow movements, coordinated with proper breathing, can benefit everyone from the exercise novice to the professional athlete. |
| Total Body Toning |
This class works all the major muscle groups, including arms, back, chest, legs, shoulders, abdominals and buttocks. Expect a full strength workout in this hour long class. Please allow 48 hours of rest prior to taking another TBT class or completing another strength workout. All fitness levels are welcome. Please call to reserve your spot! |
| ZUMBA |
Zumba combines Latin dance themes with aerobic intervals and body sculpting movements to create a dynamic, exciting, and effective workout! All fitness and ability levels are welcome. |

Classes with less than six participants may be subject to cancellation. The Summa Wellness Institute reserves the right to adjust the schedule, class formats, and instructors when necessary, based on attendance, or otherwise. Class size is determined by format. Participants should arrive on time and class participation may be subject to close at the discretion of the the instructor to ensure a safe warm up. The Group Exercise Schedule is subject to change. Abbreviated schedules of classes may be offered during holidays and the summer. |
