Sports Performance Clinic vs. Sports Camps:
A Side-by-Side Comparison

SPORTS PERFORMANCE CLINIC SPORTS CAMPS
Improves athletic ability that carries over to all sports Specific to one sport
Identifies areas of individual deficiency and works on exercises/activities to address Is general to everyone, no matter the level
Addresses proper movement patterns so that the athlete can make maximum gains in performance Does not allow for this; everyone does the same drills. Individual poor movement patterns and body control are not addressed
Pre and post tests so that you can see the benefits of the program No testing usually done
Human performance related – physical development allows athletes to perform skills at a higher level Skill development only
Addresses deficiencies to prevent injury Nothing for injury prevention
